What we do with
your work, and
what we never will.
Somebody sent you a page about you that you did not make. The fair question is who built it, what they built it out of, and what happens to your show now. Here is the whole answer. Every claim below links to the page you can check it on, because a promise you cannot check is just a nicer way of asking you to trust us.

Your audio stays yours
We do not host, copy, or re-cut anybody’s audio. Not one file of it sits on our servers.
The player on an episode page is a plain audio element pointed at the file in your own feed. It is the same file every podcast app already fetches, served from your own host, at your own address. We do not re-encode it, cut clips out of it, or put it behind a player with our name on it. There is no third-party script on it and no tracking pixel in it.
It is set to load nothing at all until somebody presses play. A page nobody listens to costs you nothing.
When we cannot find the audio, the page says so and sends you to your feed. We do not go hunting for a copy somewhere else.
Your words stay on your page
We quote the opening of your own show notes and then we stop. The rest stays where you published it, one click away, credited to you by name. Bare links come out of the quote on the way, because a link list belongs on your page and not on ours.
We do not publish a transcript of your show. Not one line, not for one episode, not for any of it. That is a copyright rule and it has never bent here, which is also why we will not quietly transcribe your back catalogue to fill a page.
Claim the show and transcripts turn on for every episode of it, right here, with your name on the page. Your say-so is the only thing that has ever unlocked one.
Every page is built from public sources, and every page shows them
Your feed, your Apple listing, your own site. That is where these pages come from, and the bottom of every show page lists what we read and the day we read it.
Nothing here is guessed. Where our sources stop, the page stops and says so rather than filling the gap with something that sounds right.
Find something wrong on a page and tell us. We correct it within two business days, or we take that fact down until we can source it. What changed, and when, is published on the page.
The one word on every show, and how we work it out
363 of the 754 shows here have not published anything in over a year, and every list they sit on says nothing about it. So each show here carries one word, worked out from the date of its last episode. Never typed in by hand, and never left off a show that has stopped.
Still going. An episode inside the last 90 days.
Gone quiet. Nothing for more than 90 days, but something inside the last year.
Dormant. Nothing for more than a year. Still listed, still labelled, never quietly dropped.
No date. The feed carried no dates we could read, so we say that instead of guessing.
Right now 287 are still going, 92 have gone quiet, 363 are dormant and 12 carry no date we could read. Every show page prints the day we last worked that out, and today that day reads 29 August 2026 on all of them. A label with no date on it is a label you cannot check, so ours carries one. If it ever goes stale you will be able to see that it has.
The two numbers, and what money cannot do to them
Most pages here carry no number yet, and that is on purpose. Today 139 of 1,704 people have one. A page backed by fewer than three independent sources reads “Not yet scored” rather than showing a low number nobody earned. A blank is honest. A zero would be a lie.
Independent means independent of you. Your own website, your own show’s listing, an episode of a show you host: all of it stays on your page, because it happened, and none of it counts toward those three. One publisher counts once, however many episodes it ran. Vouching for yourself is not somebody else vouching for you.
Where a number does exist, every piece of it and what each piece is worth is published, and the page shows what that number was built from with the links to match. You do not have to ask us how it was worked out, and you would not have to take our word for it if you did.
Nothing you can buy touches a number. There is nothing to buy here yet. When there is, the rate card will say what it excludes before it says what it costs, and it will still buy zero points.
Badges are free, forever, to every claimed and ranked page. We do not sell a badge or a plaque after selection and no paid tier will ever include one. Before any ranked list you appear on publishes, you get 48 hours’ notice.

Claiming, and the one thing it will never do
Claiming is free and stays free. There is no fee to have a page here and no fee to take it over. Nobody has ever paid to be listed and nobody is going to.
The number. Claiming does not move a score and it never will. That one sentence is the whole difference between an index and a directory you can buy your way into.

Three questions, answered before you ask
How do I get my show or my page here?
It is probably already here. We built 754 show pages and 1,704 pages for people out of public sources, so look before you ask. If your page is here, claim it and it becomes yours to correct. If it is not here, tell us and we will go and look. Nobody pays either way, and nobody ever has.
Do I have to claim it before you will list me?
No, and that order matters. The page goes up first, built from sources anybody can check, and claiming it changes who holds the pen. It does not change whether the page exists and it does not change the number.
Can I have my page taken down?
Ask and we mark it unclaimed and delete whatever its owner gave us. If a fact on it is disputed and we cannot settle it, that fact comes down and the page says so rather than being quietly edited. We are not going to tell you the honest answer is a one-click delete.
Who is behind this
Shawn Zajas built it. He hosted the Innovation in Dentistry podcast and sat down with the first 65 people in this index, which is where the whole thing came from.
BYND Media owns it. BYND and Beyond Agency sell services that can improve two of the scored pieces, and that conflict is written out in full on the about page and the methodology page rather than mentioned quietly. A score and a BYND service never appear on the same page.

There is no fee to have a page here. The weights are published, the sources are printed on the page, and the day we last checked is printed next to the label it belongs to. If any of that stops being true, it will stop being true here first, in public, with a date on it.
