Tiffany Wuebben

The practice of dental hygiene is undergoing a revolution! At The Hygienepreneur, we focus on key strategies and tactics of practice that have the power to significantly up-level any hygiene department no matter where it falls on the spectrum.  We are driven to support our Doctor’s and their teams as we help transform hygiene departments everywhere into becoming a “practice within a practice” to promote a “triple-win” scenario for the patients, the practice, and the providers of care.

As the Founder and CEO of The Hygienepreneur, Tiffany Cavazos, RDH is a published Author and Speaker and is dedicated to serving the dental community in a big way! Tiffany’s influence empowers the dental team to practice with an “ownership attitude” which leads to better clinical outcomes, higher case acceptance, and more productivity for the practice. This solid base starts with mentorship, education, and training.

Tiffany is the Author of the 2021 book, Hygienepreneur: The Dental Hygienist’s Guide to Achieving Career Success & Personal Transformation. The book outlines twenty-five key lessons for becoming the ultimate dental hygienist, one who provides the highest level of patient care, contributes significantly to practice revenue, and gains new insights into mastering their destiny.

With 30 years of dental experience, Tiffany is vested in practice and patient success through the growth and support of a highly profitable hygiene department. She has a unique passion for the field of dentistry and believes in giving back to the profession that has given so much to her. Tiffany is grateful to be able to spread this message to others and provide training and guidance. The Hygienepreneur Mantra? “For the love of the Patient, the Practice, and You!”

Innovator Insights

  • Embrace Your Unique Strengths: Recognize and leverage your individual strengths, even if they don’t align with conventional norms in your field. Tiffany’s success stems from her ability to connect with people on a personal level, as well as her conversational writing style, which sets her apart in the dental industry.
  • Innovate to Overcome Challenges: When faced with obstacles or unmet needs in your profession, view them as opportunities for innovation. Tiffany’s decision to build an event center, Cedar Creek Ranch, arose from her realization that there was a gap in the market for a facility tailored to specific events and retreats.
  • Don’t Fear Being in “Beta”: Understand that it’s perfectly acceptable to be in the early stages of an idea or venture, referred to as being in “beta.” This phase allows you to work through details and refine your approach before fully launching. It’s a vital part of the innovation process.
  • Prioritize Giving Back: Recognize the value of giving back to your community and profession. Tiffany emphasizes that when practices succeed, it ensures the sustainability and growth of the industry as a whole. This sense of service can be a powerful driving force for positive change.
  • Step Boldly Into Your Dreams: Don’t let age or previous experiences limit your pursuit of dreams and passions. Tiffany’s story illustrates that taking risks, even later in life, can lead to remarkable achievements. Trust in your abilities and have confidence in your vision.
